this is how the grades are allocated at virtually every university in Australia (ANU is the only uni that i know of that uses different cutoffs)

HELP ME..im a yr 10 student n i want to noe if physics is VITAL for engineering courses in UNI..becuase i dont like physics but if i dont do it am i disadvantaged???

You will be disadvantaged, but its hardly needed. The only thing physics really teaches you in the HSC is how to think in that frame of mind - which is actually really handy.

Unless of course you want to do a double degree with physics, then you need it.

Oh, and also take up Engineering Studies over everything else if your school offers it.

I'm killing mechanics because of it, extremely useful.

yeah well my tutor just sent me the solutions to the quiz via email
and looks like i got the first question completely wrong, but yeah, i got the second one right!
hehehehe
yeah hopefully he can give me a couple of marks for the diagrams and aim for the first question
