im considering becoming an engineer, what field of engineering has the easiest level of maths?

This. Electrical is the hardest. In Software Engineering you won't really touch any harder maths beyond the core, but software engineering is pretty far removed from engineering so if you want to be an engineer you probably aren't interested.
