i cant believe that i only really considered enigneering today.

i got this from the usyd website:

What makes a good engineer?

Adept at solving problems.
Enjoys challenges.
Proficient at mathematics.
Good with people.
A good communicator.
Able to manage people and projects.
Team spirit. If this sounds like you, read on.

i think all of them describe me (im ok with math - 83 in 4unit - not that bad (last in 4unit class) )

http://www.eng.usyd.edu.au/apply/courses.html

i really wanna combine it with something though, ill look into it.

3 unit mark was 93 :)

but with less than a week to decide, how do i find the right engineering course for me?
Big things that don't move? Civil
Small things that do? Mechanical
Numbers about circuits? Electrical
Planes? Aeronautical
Computers? Computer Eng.
Programming? Software
Mixing chemicals? Chem Eng.
Robot stuff? Mechatronic
Body joints? Biomedical

It pretty much boils down to what you are interested in. I go past the Anzac bridge and just stare in awe, so naturally I love Civil Engineering. Also, as of todays paper, it has a higher graduate employment rate then nursing! Loving it!

Think Tim is, Sri and Paul are either headed there or UNSW.

I'm under explicit instructions by today's lecturer (Steve) to discourage people from enrolling in mechatronics. :p
(They usually take too many :))
