Hi all,

I was wondering what quotes you could come up with (you don't have to analyse you can leave it to me <3) that demonstrate how Paul forgoes time with Keller, and often prioritises his romantic and social life before all else, specifically time with Keller. If you can, try to take the quotes from unexpected situations that Paul is in.

E.G, towards the end of the novel, Keller is finally willing to open up to Paul about his past and Paul is momentarily shocked because it was unexpected, but then proceed to go out with his friends.

Thanks a lot!

“Rosie’s weekly letter from Melbourne arrived the following day: and those letters always possessed powers of healing… She always seemed able to tell me exactly what I wanted to hear.” (idk my notes say page 128)

^ I guess this shows that Rosie is kind of a remedy ('healing') to the brutal nature of Keller's honesty, and that he always chooses Rosie over Keller because there is a sense of emotional security..? IDK haven't read Maestro in a year
