For an essay roughly 2 and a half pages, how many body paragraphs should I aim to write? And how many quotes do I need to include in each body paragraph. The current structure I use for my body paragraphs is: Topic sentence, quote, technique, analysis, link. But should I instead include more quotes, techniques and analysis in each paragraph instead of having like 5 small parragraphs

In that case I reckon 3 would be good, and have around 5 or 6 quotes each paragraph(you can bundle two seperate quotes with one analysis), that's just what I did in my HSC exam but overall I reckon 3 paragraphs would be good, quotes really depends on the length and the depth of analysis you have.

But wouldn't that make my response really long with that many quotes. For a year 10 exam should I just stick with 2 quotes in each body parragraph

ooooh whoops, I didn't register that you were yr 10, I thought you were part of the new year 12s, yea 2 quotes is enough.
