English Test (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know what the English test by the ELSSA for new IT students contains. Perhaps 2nd or 3rd year students could tell me its structure, any specifics & time length (is there an essay? what sort of topics usually?), and how to best prepare for it.

Does anyone have any past papers or samples I can have a look at?

lol mate dont worry about it. its basicly like the cat sat on the mat level of examination. its basicly to differentiate the fobs and the normal english speaking people.

Basically its a comprehension test where you have to fill in the missing words. The other section is just a short passage you have to write to show them you can write structured English. It's nothing to worry about and I'm sure you'll pass with flying colours.

oh man i would have wrote about aliens taking over earth and making everyone use alien technology, on the otherhand i would have written about anti-gravity objects such as skateboards without wheels, and robots that can think for themselves. etc
but i gotta include the aliens..hahahah
