The Real Inspector Hound was great, sooooo much better than Snow Falling On Cedars and The Big Sleep!! Even my Ext 1 teacher despised The Big Sleep. It was awful...

I also grew to love Ros & Guil Are Dead. Didn't like it at first but saw a production of it (the one in Erskineville where you had to move around a lot) and then read it again and got so much more out of it.

Tom Stoppard is a clever, clever man...

i realloy liked "back home" in year 8, nothing in year nine, to kill a mockingbird was SOOO good, must read that again. hmmm...we did a poet in yr 11 that was really good but i cant remember his name. oooh i liked "the removalists", even tho heeps of people in our year hated it.

i only really liked "hamlet" and "ros and guil" this year. and my related texts i guess! do they count?

i did it for ext in yr 11. it was different, but i didnt mind it. some of the background study got a bit boring, but that is generally the case wid most texts.

what makes it even better is that u can watch it on video, as its exactly as it is in the book:D

anyone read heart of darkness...??

when i read heart of darkness in year 11, i HATED it at first... but after staying up til 5:44am doing an assessment task on it the night before it was due, i found myself totally in LOVE with it... its kinda become my trademark in 3unit english to make some kind of HOD or Conrad reference in all my essays from then on :p
