WE do an assessment task for standard english.
and the teachers who mark it are from the other standard classes.

isnt it unfair? cuz some teachers would mark harder and some would mark easier.

we should do like averaging between all markers

Usually there is consistency where 1 teacher would mark the same section across all papers, and likewise for another section. And, there should definitely be a marking criteria, so I wouldn't expect 1 teacher giving an 8 and another giving a 16.

Unfortunately English is subjective. Opinions among markers very, it's the same for all students so don't worry about.
