I can't get the correct answer for the following

1. 4b/5-1 = b/3+6

2. 4k^3+11 = 267
_
3. Vx /5 = 4/10 <<Square root of x it's meant to be

Any help please?

1. I don't know if you mean 4b/(5 - 1) or (4b/5) - 1, I'm going to assume the latter because the first one is just silly.

4b/5 - b/3 = 7

4b - 5b/3 = 35

12b - 5b = 105

7b = 105

b = 15



2. 4k³ + 11 = 267

4k³ = 256

k³ = 64

k = 4



3. sqrt x = 20/10 = 2

x = 4
