this annoys me so much over rated. that comment really pisses me off. this guy is probably the best guitarist ever if you look at his record. he came before hendrix, page etc. it was hendrix who went to the uk to hear clapton play, clapton was the one who inspired hendrix to use the wah wah pedal on his song all along the watch tower. it was clapton who transformed guitar playin by turnin up the volume of his amps and playin hard blues, he didnt get the grafitti of "CLapton is god" for nothin. he was involved with 2 huge bands who influenced and changed music, cream and the yardbirds. his solo career is incredibly impressive, layla, wonderful tonight, tears in heaven, cocaine, old love, bad love are just some of his huge hits. CLapton is, when you think about it the only guitarist to have survived the 60's. hes been through the 70's , 80's and 90's and still made huge hits and recorded great songs. if that is not a testament to his talents then i dunno what other guitarist has achieved what Eric CLapton has done.

Your Kid Committed Suicide Because You Suck

ERIC CLAPTON SUCKS, ERIC CLAPTON SUCKS
ERIC CLAPTON'S GAY, AND HE'S FUCKING GAY
YOUR FATHER IS THE 4TH WORST SONG WRITER
AFTER SPRINGSTEEN, SEGER AND PETTY

YOU WERE SICK OF HIS GAY FUCKING SONGS
SO YOU JUMPED OUT A REALLY HIGH UP WINDOW
YOUR FATHER SUCKS SO FUCKING BAD
YOU KNEW YOU'D GET BEATEN UP AT SCHOOL

YOU WERE SICK OF HEARING "YOU LOOK WONDERFUL TONIGHT"
SO YOU JUMPED OUT A REALLY HIGH UP WINDOW
SOMETIMES I WISH YOU DIDEN'T DIE
BECAUSE I HATE THE SONG "TEARS IN HEAVEN"
I WAS GLAD YOU DIED UNTIL I HEARD THAT SONG
AND KEVIN SHARP IS GAY

Anal Cunt just wishes they had an eighth of the popularity or talent of Eric Crapton:

that anal cunt thing is so wrong and incredibly insensitive. i dont understand some people, if u dont like someone fair enough but dont write stuff like that about them. people like this spread hate into this already hateful world and it makes me sick.

yea its true, they were gonna replace harrison with clapton, and the rolling stones were gonna use them to replace their guitarist. i dont think he wouldve done it though, clapton wasnt at that point into pop. still kinda interestin to think about how each band wouldve sounded like.

Clapton cowrote and played guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

Anyway, I hate Tears In Heaven with a passion. Cream is awesome, Derek And The Dominoes and The Yardbirds are great and his solo work is massively inconsistent.

yea i know clapton did WMGGW, best song of the white album imo. you hate TIH, wow never thought id hear someone say that, such a powerful and sad song. yea cream was awesome, u should here some bluesbreakers and blindfaith stuff, real good. his solo work yea u could say a bit inconsistent, then again he did suffer alot of tragedies durin that period, herroin addiction, alcohol addiction, deaths of friends and family. etc. his life is quite screwed up. typical blues life hes got when u think about it, all the sadness.
