yeh, what they said.
+ in your introduction basically state what your arguments are, then each of your arguments should form a paragraph.

And anything you quote must be part of a text.
as if? I make up quotes all the time, its not like the teacher's actually going to bother to check it.
Although I suppose technically you shouldn't.

lol, I haven't. The trick is to make up fairly average quotes, because if you make up a really awesome quote that fits in perfectly with your response the teachers going to be like "Why don't I remember reading that?"

Are you kidding me?

That's horrendously lazy and something you definitely won't be able to do in either the HSC or university.

Don't you think it'd be better to learn how do write an essay the right way before you get to the HSC or university and have to figure out real research then?

I guess you're right, but it's prelim?
For formal assessments I don't make up quotes, but who cares for all the rest.

Economics essay: a bombardment of fake statistics :).
But hey, approx. 88.6% of hsc students do it and of that 66.9% end up getting band 5 or above. so i wouldn't worry.

You do know that if you do that in university, you're fucked right?

So quit bad habits now?

Or are you all determined to be utter lazy idiots?

It's not lazy, it's prioritising.
I have better things to do then reading through hundreds of pages to find a few quotes.

Reading through those hundreds of pages often means you get a better understanding of the text anyways.

Never mind, prelim student. You're too immature to understand anything about actual learning.

I sometimes make up quotes and statistics in times when I forget, but if you are to make something up, at least make it look reasonable.
