Ive been given this assessment task but im not sure how to go about it eg. Structure etc. Was just wondering if I could get some helpful hints from anybody thx
Question:
“Our purpose in Vietnam is to prevent the success of aggression. It is not conquest, it is not empire, it is not foreign bases, and it is not domination. It is simply put, just to prevent the forceful conquest of South Vietnam by North Vietnam”
To what extent did nationalism, communism and US involvement in Vietnam contribute to the growing conflict in Indochina in the period 1954-1979? Assess the validity of the statement in light of events that occurred in Indochina.
