Hi guys,
Would taking a past written essay from one of my school's older students and just practicing moulding that and changing it to my thoughts get caught in the HSC marking process? I feel like reading more high-marked papers and getting inspo from those help me understand what is good essay writing but I sometimes also take some analysis. But idk if they look for similarities and give 0 atar for that

then what do the <50 people that get caught every year do? like bring in a microphone ear piece or smth?
I mean they could do anything like bringing in quotes. For the amount of kids that do english that is like 0.01%. HSC markers read thousands of essays, they would almost certainly read the same essay twice and not think anything of it. There are only so many ideas

def bring like palmcards or some form of notes and get caught. I HIGHLY doubt they would go out their ways to get an OCR and scan each and every paper for plagiarism not to mention handwriting too. its just very impractical and basically impossible.
