I'm going to buy a cheap used bike off an international student who is moving home. The bike will be functional. Form following function, beige, none of this fancy schmancy "steal me red" for me, no sir ree bob!

Anyone brining a wok? I think we should all bring a wok.

Does anyone have some advice on where to buy a computer down there? I'm budgeting at $1000.

P.S. That's a mighty impressive list there, Ziff.

From the B&G website (http://bandg.anu.edu.au):
Burton and Garran Hall said:
Central Heating

Each room is centrally heated during the colder months of April to approximately November. The radiator can be adjusted (or turned off) by the resident. Due to fire regulations and to protect from power overloads, residents are not allowed to use any other type of heater. Infringement of this rule may result in disciplinary action.

There are computer fairs held regularly in Canberra.

http://www.computerfairs.com.au/

These are also held in Wollongong. Judging from the Wollongong ones, the "Computer Markets" one is the better of the two. Of course it could be completely different down there.

Well you couldn't be worse than me, if thats any consolation. I have no idea what I'm going to do for food when I live on campus.

It really is the only logical way, and if you're squeemish about killing you could just raid a morgue for corpses from which to harvest breakfast from.

What size are the beds in Fenner and B&G?
