Establishing a need (prelim) (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys

I'm doing my prelims at the moment and i have come up with this DAT assignment where we have do research to establish a need in the community. Anyone got any ideas what i could do it on? whats needed? or maybe you could tell me what you did?

i have to be able to use both primary an secondary stuff though and talk for 10 minutes about it.

Find a market that has a hole in it. Something that doesn't exist, or something that is desperatly needed to making something better. I can't think off the top of my head atm, but there are many out there.

On the spot I can think of...

- Outdoor smoking facilities for pubs and clubs

- Easier access to beaches for the elderly (eg ramps or watever)

- Outdoor area for weddings or receptions due to chruch weddings becoming unpopular.

- An activity to keep children occupied while parents are driving

- A system to encourage students to stop truanting.

- Free to access, public arenas,stages for local bands to play on.

Not sure if that's what your looking for or not.
