OK people
i've heard that exam results are out 15th july 2pm
HOWEVER, does it come out ONLY via connect.newcastle.edu.au? Or do we get a hard copy of our results via mail?

Reason being, i have this outstanding FINE for supposedly stealing an academic gown from my own room at college, AND they cut off access to results on the net until i've paid it off. Damn uni is so dodgy sometimes

you can go and pay for a transcript friday arvo at student services. and how did they know you knocked off your gown? supposedly of course

it isn't really a big deal (except on campus), mainly the new internationals becoming acquainted with the uni. it is in the second week of holidays

i only know of one function so far (organised by my college IH) but i think there will be an UNDIES thing some time during the week

i moved from west wing to cutler north and when they cleaned my (old) room they reckon the gown wasn't there.

So I guess I'll have to pay it off if i want to see my marks :-\

they're just formal gowns, not as good as graduation gowns but still...
they're black, we use them for like commencement dinners and other formal college things

I think it's because they want another way to take $77 off us if we lose it or if they 'think' we lost it.

everything revolves around the $28mil debt

yeah i heard you were movin to the air con. i dont know how you could have lost ur gown unless you took it off somewhere after farewell
