Just thought it'd be interesting to see the differences between one's usual (unless yours changes constantly) handwriting to the illegible scribblies during exams. You can put scans if you can be bothered.

There are a few handwriting threads up but they're either incredibly old or really long.

I think my exam writing's a lot more slanted. And a bit more legible, though not by much.

I write in Asian characters in my exams.

I have no idea which Asian language it is, but all I know is that it looks like Asian when I'm done.

Normal Handwriting: Legible.

Exam Handwriting: When having to write small amounts, legible. When writing large essays, barely legible.

The writing always ends up horrible at the start, gets better in the middle, and then turns into scribble towards the end.

On the plus side, i'm able to write, in that manner, at 32wpm. Legible handwriting however, puts it at 18-21wpm.

No better way to pass time than to scan handwriting.

Holy shit!

That's a massive difference between the two.

Can you even read the second one?

Wild guess - English creative writing?

I'm an identical case.

Hey how many pages can you pull with that scrawl in, say, 40 minutes for an English essay? I can only do 5, at the most 6 if I tear a tendon or two. There are those admirably freakish friends of mine who can do 8+ comfortably.

My normal handwriting is neat, but illegible.

My exam handwriting is messy and illegible.

So yeah, not much diff. It seems that only 3 people in the entire world can read my writing ATM >.>;

Let's see now ...

My usual handwriting consists of about five different, fairly legible fonts; one day I refuse to do cursive, the next I refuse to print, the next I fluctuate between the two, and the next I just randomly pick one.

My exam handwriting is exaggerated, slanted, and generally looks like scribbled crap. :)
