hi

ive been filling some uni forms latetly and they're asking if i have a record of 'exclusion'. i probably dont, but anyone know what that means?

but how does soeone get excluded? not handing in assignments and failing their exams? stuff like that?

I think plagerism would be a problem.... failing lots.... vandalism of the uni.... unassepteble behayvya in class.

im currently attempting 3 subjects at 6 UOC each

what if i was to pretty much get 20% for one subject, but manage a pass for the other 2 subs? will i get excluded or suspended?

and im failing that 1 sub because it sux and i hate it, not because i cheated and got caught.

what do yo think?

You'd have to fail more than half your subjects in a semester. Each university has a different policy though.

At csu u can be excluded if u cheat etc, also if u fail a key subject twice or any other subject 3 times. also if u live on campus and play up, harrasing students, steal uni property etc etc.
basically if u break laws knowingly

At UNSW you can get suspended for 6 months to 2 years for doing things like academic misconduct (cheating, plagerism, etc) or failing the same subject atleast 2 times. There's probably other things too, but they are the main 2.

I've only glanced over the above posts but there doesn't seem to be an explanation of the term.

Exclusion is like being expelled from school - the registrar forcibly cancels your enrolment and you are not permitted to enrol in anything for (usually) at least one year.
