Dear: Xxxxx Xxxxx

This email is to advise you of two significant changes which should be of value
to you in your use of your Exetel Internet service.

From 1st September 2006 Exetel will extend the period where downloads do not
count towards your plan's included download allowance:

From: 2 am to 10 am each day

To: 12 midnight to 12 noon each day

Also from 1st September 2006 Exetel will increase the allowance during this
period:

From: 27 gigabytes

To: 30 gigabytes

If you download more than 30 gigabytes between 12 midnight and 12 noon then
Exetel reserves the right to slow your connection in that period for the balance
of that calendar month.

We believe that these changes will materially benefit the majority of Exetel
Internet users.

Regards

Exetel Management
:D
I probably won't get up to that much, but makes me happy nonetheless. :p

But exetel charges for excess usage @ $3 per GB. Unlike most other ISPs who don't charge for excess download.

I think majority of people should be able to control themselves so they don't go over their limit...I mean technically I only have about 2 weeks to download 16Gb.

Most other ISP's shape you instead. I'd rather use my common sense to stay under my limit or pay the extra $3 so my connection is still usuable.

Exetel has also boosted the peak download limit of its 512/128 plans by quite a bit.
