50/50.

Top stuff everyone. And I must say, I'm surprised hardly any 05 bosers were shortlisted.

I got 50/50 to and I'm begining to wonder who did get into showcase! ha ha, what more could have I done?! ha ha, I don't care anymore though, a 50 is a 50.

Got 49/50, not happy. I wanted that 50 badly. I've no idea what happened to my internal assessment mark. I got 100% for all my assessments, but somehow my mark was only 49/50? Oh well. I had a nightmare that my mark would be way lower. So at least that didn't come true. But I won't be eligible for Showcase. Life goes on, I suppose.

I think it's important to remind everyone of the subjective nature of EE2. Admittedly, the course has a somewhat distinct bias attitude towards works of a postmodern nature - of course, that's not to say that works did well "because they were postmodern", or that "they did badly because they weren't postmodern" (although of course it's a possibility but we'll never know for sure.

Just remember that the Board is only ONE judge. Regardless of what they have given you, just take it on board and aim to constantly improve yourself. The most important thing, as we have said time and time again, is to remember what you have learnt through EE2 - it's not all about the marks, it's about understanding the writing process more, understanding YOUR writing process more.

ariose - call me nuts, but I don't believe all Showcase candidates have to have top marks. You'd have to ask super_katie for confirmation, but I'm pretty sure she got 49/50... and she's in the 2004 showcase.

Remember everyone, regardless of what mark you received YOU DID IT, and I am so proud of you! You never know what people will think of your work. You can only hope for the best - if you are marked highly, then great. If not, just try to learn from the experience and improve - but please remember how subjective the Board is. They're just ONE source. There are many others!

I got 49, so I'm stoked, because I had a nightmare last night that I got 33.

Thanks Cataeptic...think next time u talk! I got 33...start to think of the world in greater terms than urself...nobody in ee2 needs to be denegrated to the extent that you have just done to me...We all worked our asses off for this, and u have no right to say u had a nightmare about recieving my mark.

Yeah, the English staff at my school are the worst English staff in the history of schooling ever. I got 94 for advanced externally and 87 internally and I fucked up my external, I got 45 externally and 42 internally for Extension 1 and 49 externally and 34 internally for extension II. I mean I got 49 externally and STILL didn't make the honour roll, that shit is annoying.

Very surprised... I must admit the acting wasn't too crash hot but I guess it's an English major work, not Drama. Though it seems here everyone is getting an E4- there were only four people in my class and two of us got E4.

It doesn't look too good on how it's going to scale...

I am sooo happy about mine! I got 48/50 Examination Mark, 46/50 for assessment mark... thus ending up with 47/50... so awesome!

By the way, congratulations to the one who got 50/50 examination! That is excellent!!!

I understand how the people who got really varied internal/external marks feel... i got 47 external, 39 internal, so 43. Kind of annoyed.. but i guess my internal marks were never good... still. Congratulations to everyone who got between 47 and 50, thats excellent!

I got 46 internally and 45 externally and ended up with 46. Pretty dang happy, but I sorta wanted more...47 would have been nice but whatever, looking back over my MW I hate it so yeah!

i swear, my amaturistic crap got 49/50, hahahha, but my internal was 40 so i got 45. its great considering that my old ext2 teacher told me that i had no chance in hell to get above 35, so i guess teachers (especially stuck up english teachers ) dont know best. stick to it ppls, and congrats hehe.

dude my anthology was a dystopian prohpecy, dripping in politics. i also stated in my RS that Hitler, Bush and other dictators are indeed ingenius in their own ways(BUsh not so muchlol). i dont think that was your downfall, they probably didnt think u ahd enough flair or more so ur research lacked depth
