No. You have to be studying Advanced English to do Extension. Also, to study Extension in Year 12 you have to have studied it in Year 11.

Unless your doing really well in standard, and topping everything, i wouldn't reccomend it.

My friend is in the same position as you, but she is doing advanced eng. now.

If you can do extension, you can do advanced. Its like saying i can do Ext 1 maths while doing general, it ain't gonna happen.

errr...your kinda pulling it a bit. It would be pretty hard but i guess if you worked REALLY REALLY hard the maybe it would work...

To do extension english in year 12 you have to do advanced english and extension one in year 11. Then in year 12 if u want you can also do ext 2, or you can keep doing ext 1 or u can drop extension. You can't start extension in year 12, reagardless of whether you do standard or advanced.

Extension english is such a drag. Even if you are allowed to do it, I wouldn't.
