Hey~ Guys~ I am doing 3u Jap.. just have few questions to ask..

1) Do we get furigana (hiragana on top of Kanji) or Kanji for the
gotaifumanzoku reading task..?
2) For reading section, are we going to only get gotaifumanzoku materials?
3) Do we have to know all the kanji used in gotaifumanzoku?

I feel so scared of hsc speaking and other ext. paper...
anyways.. good luck with ur trial and HSC~

1) no
2) yes
3) you need to recognise them (don't have to write)

there are no listening sections on the extension paper :)

make up a picture in your mind to remember what the word means. Look at the meaning of the kanji and see if you can think of a picture that matches that... it doesnt always work, but it works for a lot of the Kanji.

if you see a kanji you don't recognise in the question, try to find your way around it.. that's what i did last year.

my best advice is to just memorise the content of the extracts

so once you're in the exam and you start to read it...it'll be quicker to go through
