Ok I'm using a DSL-G604T however the signal strength isn't very good eg It is nearly impossible to get any signal in the room next to the AP.

Are there any ways to extend its range/boost the signal?

My walls are solid concrete so this may be a loosing battle?

Solid concrete shouldn't be a problem, especially if its just the room next door. Most APs/wireless routers should have an effective range to over an entire house. Does it work in other locations in your house? Or just that particular room?

I get no coverage beyond the room the AP is in.

I've been googling and some across some things that might help.

eg on the other side of the wall I have the AP next to is a microwave and cordless phone and the AP is nxt to a printer.

So I'm going to have a play with different places in the house and then try things like: http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template/. If they don't work I will cave in and buy a bigger antenna.

Speaking of which do you know of any good preferably australian web sites with a large range (and lots of pictures) that sell hardware.

I have a wirlesss router and its range extends about half the length of my house.

The Interent dosent work on a computer on the other end of the house and the connection is alway on/off every few seconds....

The signal strength in the room is 20% (measured on my PSP...one of the more useful nonadvertised functions of it :p) so is 20% to weak of a signal to get it to work?
