anyone who has been through it, may you please let us know of your thoughts on the subject? the dedication needed, the topic you chose for your major assignment, what mark you received, how you answered it, how long it took you to prepare, when did you do it (holdays...?), where did you go for resources....

any thoughts please let me know

May I just point out that it is quite silly your posting this thread on the Prelim Board... you should try posting it on the Year 12 one... you'd actually get responses from people who have just done the course.

I wonder why nobody has replied your post....


My sister does History Extension and her major is due tomorrow. She doesn't find it stressful and she enjoys it. Sometimes she says that the workload seems more like a 2U subject than a 1U one. She said the major work isn't as stressful as it would be, for example, in English Extension 2.

I guess if you are dedicated to History than you'll go well in it. History is for the passionate!
