Hello wise people of the internet,

I have decided on doing the following subjects for 2014/15:
Adv. English
Economics
Business Studies
Legal Studies
SOR II for Year 11, then drop down to I for Year 12 (Catholic School)
Adv. Maths

I am also uncertain about Ext 1 Maths.
Last year I came first in my year for maths so I would definitely be able to handle but I'm going for a career in finance or law so I doubt its relevance.
I also don't want to get stuck putting massive amounts of hours into an irrelevant one unit subject when I could be working on my others.
I don't know if this counts for much but I don't really enjoy maths anyway.

So what do you guys think?
Would it give me a great advantage in my future or is it irrelevant?
Do I have to put massive amounts of hours in?

Thank you for any advice you can offer!

3U Maths isn't that beneficial for Finance or Law students. A solid understanding of 2U Maths is all you need for Finance..

Stick with your current choice of subjects and excel in all of them!

If you don't enjoy it it's going to be a pain in the ass especially in year 12. However, seeing as you've currently only got 12 units, I suggest you give it a go anyway. I started year 11 off with 15 units, and someone I know did 16 for a couple of weeks.

Drop Business Studies and do MX1.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll give it a go but if I really dislike it I'll definitely drop it knowing it isn't anything major. I think I'll stick with BS actually, really looking forward to it. 16 units!? Is that even possible??
