Hey

I have my formal coming up soon.

I just wanna get rid of my acne and the scars. Its not that bad but yeah.

A dermatologist offered me to do peels like:

BHA peels

Dramatic Difference peels

Green peels

Do these peels work well with my problem?

If so, how many times do I must get them done.

THANNXXX!!

A dermo recommended that? You should really ask them the questions. Do peels really get rid of acne?

logic would say that dermos would know best

peels mainly get rid of dead skin & extra oils...they usually help with acne, etc (help vs. completely get rid of). not sure about scars (i'm thinking acne scars)..might make them less obvious

as for the different peels...i wouldnt have a clue. the dermo should be able tell you a fair bit about them and suggest what's best for you

i'm guessing that the one with the least chemicals would be the best for your skin....some of the stuff they have is really potent

heheh hey smurf! :p

they shouldnt hurt...but the stronger ones tend to leave your face a bit too dry, maybe a bit sore/red after - a good moisturiser is a necessity afterwards, but if they're good they wont leave you there with a massively sore/red/dry face

BHA peels are the best for problem skin. they do causse irritation, and the skin...um...peels, but itll heal and your skin will be smooth, acne-free and the scars will have lessened.

talk to ur dermo.

but why attack it if something simpler will clear it up? you could end up doing more harm than good with something that harsh. (i'm reading "not that bad" as only something pretty light...less than 20 whiteheads and maybe some blackheads)
