if they asked you a question on what the factors were affecting criminal behaviour... would anyone put genetic theories as one? because it's actually in the derwent, hamper and draper legal studies textbook but not much information to substantiate the claim. or should i just put social, economic and political factors?

you need all 5 that are in the syllabus: social, political, self interest, economic and genetic.

Even though the textbooks claim that genetic factors arent a reality, put it in, because its in the syllabus.

Just mention it, write about the theory behind how genetics can pass on criminal traits and then say that no matter how much phrenology can try and prove it true, there have been studies showin that it aint true.
