Doing well in English advance is important. In 2002 50% of the canditure that did it got a band 5.

If you improve on it, it will help you UAI greatly.

Does standard english impact on your UAI much?

Someone told me that there mark of 55% and ranking of 25/30 was better than my 79% and 1/58. Is that true?

Sounds bout right...

I knew of a guy who failed his assesments for Eng Adv and ranked 100/105... ended up getting 80... beat his friend who was coming first in standard who got 78

But you must not forget the whole concept of scaled marks... obviously u have to look at the percentages and stats to see which one got a better "scaled" mark

You see i got 43% for my English adv. trials. Is it possible for me to get 80 if i really study hard in the lead up to the HSC exams?
