Failing a atar subject (1 Viewer)

Hi, yeah so uhm
i'm currently first term year 11 and im failing Economics real bad (35.2%). Im thinking about dropping it to do Phys Ed studies ATAR but then if i was to get into Uni i would have to pick a different course from what i initially wanted (marketing), What should i do??:frown2:

You DONT need to study the HSC subject recommended for your future course. For instance, I didn't study biology, and I'm currently studying nursing. Generally, HSC subject aren't compulsory for univeristy degrees rather they are 'recommended', unless it states so. I doubt economics is a complusory subject for Marketing...

Don't risk it. Just drop if you're preforming horribly. Discuss with your teacher what your best option is too tbh. Maybe there are particular areas you need to work on.

If its a prerequisite then you have had to have done the subject.

If its merely recommended, then you don't have to study it for the HSC. (But I'd strongly advise to stick with the subject)
