I have a Family Law assesment task tomorrow and I have a blindingly obvious question to ask you.

The question I will have to write an essay on is;

With reference to legal issues faced by family members, discuss remedies and the difficulties in gaining access to these remedies.

My obvious question is this, legal issues faced by family members? Are they things such as dissolution of marriage and the residence of children in the case of a divorce?

Also, remedies, are these things such as councilling and the family court? I think that they are but I would like confirmation.
