i elected to pay my fees up front to get the discount, so what you're saying sunny, is that i can just pay about $1000 before the census date... and when would i have to pay the rest by?

but thats not really paying up front then is it?

When you pay for your fees, even if you have elected to pay partial up front - just pay more than you have to (at least $500) and you'll automatically be eligible for the discount (ie, they'll take care of it).

is it possible to change from up front payment to hecs paying?

or is it too late? I'm abit short of the $2700 for up front payment this semester, so rather than borrowing some money from parents or wateva, i'm thinking of just switching to hecs.

Can i switch back to upfront payment next semester if i wanted to?

Yes, you can switch between semesters.

If you don't have 2700, just pay whatever as long as it's over 500 to get the discount. The rest will be accumulated to your hecs.
