syllabus is the same whether you go to a private school or a public school.

if religion is your worst subject then it won't count. however if it is better than one of your two unit subjects (that's not english), it will count.

say general maths is your worst subject. religion will be counted in the uai and general maths will contribute one unit to the uai calculation.

yea.. i get you.. but how thow. when other subjects ive mensioned were 2 unit subjects and religion is 1 unit...

even if we take out maths general

and put religion in it comes down to 9 units

that means im not eligible for UAI... right?

youve got 11 units right there right?
all of the subjects are worth 2 units whilst the religion is worth 1 unit
since youve got 11 units, youre already eligible for UAI calculation.

you cant just take out maths general if thats your worst subject. like how watatank explained above, if religion is done better than any of those 2 unit subjects then religion will definitely count, whilst the most poorly done 2 unit subject would count for only 1 unit

ie if maths was the most poorly done subject then the UAI calculation for the subjects would look like this

English advanced would count 2 units out of 2
Biology would count 2 units out of 2
Modern History would count 2 units out of 2
PDHPE would count 2 units out of 2
Religion would count 1 unit out of 1
General maths would count 1 unit out of 2

hope that helps
