I've never watched that film but I read on imdb reviews that it was practically the opposite of saving private ryan. Saving private ryan glorifies war.

i am getting massively into pedro almodovar at the moment, (almost only because of my massive crush on penelope cruz) and am very very excited about broken embraces. i guess that means i am a spanish fan but i havent seen a lot of other spanish films apart from cuaron and guillermo del toro (mexican if you are going to get all anal about it).
