I was wondering if anyone would kindly post some examples of significant film techniques that link to Frances's belonging? D:

Here are some I have (It's not much..):

Alienation:
- "Ask your husband" - dialogue reveals her husband's infidelity and betrayal

Identification:
- Tuscany is symbolic of liveliness, contrasted with Frances's depression with terminal writer's block

Reconciliation:
- The old man finally waves to her and thus recognises her
- The tap floods with water, symbolising her life flourishing
- Her relationship with Catherine is contrasted against; Catherine thrives on life
- The lady bug is found on her shirt - reference to Catherine saying she used to look for lady bugs and she fell asleep and found them crawling all over her

i haven't got anything for understanding or acceptance D: some please help :)
