hey guys.. got a viewing task coming up.
any fancy film techniques i should memorise?
(the names of them that is) including camera techniques.

panning
dollying
cross fading or wiping
lighting
sound
colour vs black&white

........................?

what sort of question is that? :p of course you should learn them!

Hmmm...what else? (off the top of my head...)

voiceover
level of shot - ie. establishment, long, mid, and close-up
physical features and presentation of people
placement of people and objects
vectors in a visual still or screen layout
mannerisms of characters/non-verbal expression
costumes and props
