So many people are asking for film techniques, yet they forget about google!

i searched 'film techniques' and came up with this wonderful website, wikipedia.

Well the main film techniques would include the order of events occuring (forgot what the term for this technique is), camera angles and close-ups/far off shots, simple things such as setting, special FX (effects), try and relate these techniques to the concept of the journey that you're studying.
