Wow thats not too far from now, considering how long it should take a series.

They were still filming season 2 whilst the first episodes of the season aired (tvtome.com shows the weeks in which the episodes were shot and some of the later ones were shot surprisingly close to the middle of the season i think).

I just thought of this: Is Tre even died? I mean, the bullet seems directly where the heart is, but MAYBE we'll get a big shock next season and find out he didn't even die. Unlikely I know, but beh

Prediction: Marissa doesn't go to jail (self defence) but Ryan does for assault. Trey's in a coma. Marissa goes on the summer trip with her parents and comes back at the end of the first episode to visit Ryan for the first time. Then in the second or third episode Kirsten will come back, Ryan will be released, and everything will go back to normal. Then in the middle of the season, an implausible number of new characters will be introduced, Trey will wake up, Ryan will find out about his kid, Anna will come back, all culminating in a big cliffhanger at the end of the year, which will be quickly and tidily resolved at the start of Season 4 (if there is one).

I really didn't like the last episode. IT was way too cliched, and nothing unexpected happened at all. Kirsten goes to rehab, big shock. Ryan fights Trey and Trey maybe dies. You could've predicted that happening about 10 episodes ago.

Yeah but that isn't self-defence now is it? Marissa did not have to kill Trey to save Ryan, all she needed to do was to make him get off Ryan's body, she didn't need to kill him........ But of course, as it is the o.c., i wouldn't be surprised if she gets away with it.......
