Got one part of my assessment back

Creative Writing 8/15 ugh!! Teacher commented it was too "pedestrian" and very "predictable"

oh, that sucks (what the teacher said, not your mark)

i guess you passed which is good. how many parts did the assesment consist of? did you think you did better in the other parts? do you think you can do better next time? coz when i get a bad mark and a know why i got that mark i improve next time, so i hope thats the case with you. btw how much was this assessment worth?

anyway, good luck getting the rest back, i hope you did well. sorry to hear you're not happy with that part.

I got the Question One back and I have managed to redeem myself

Q1 13/15 Yes. (87%)

Q3. Essay (I havent got it back yet)

I hate how for some assessments you recieve your marks in drips and drabs.

The assessment had weighting of 25% (1/4).

Im exaclty like you when I dont do so well in particular section I assure myself that I have a chance to do better in other things.

I got my last section back and it hasnt turned out to be such a good result.
q1 13/15
q2 8/15
q3 7/15

Everyone got bad for q3 (meaning 5/15 the highest was 15) BUT still i only achieved an horrendous mark of 28/45 62% :(

dw, no need to fear. many people make mistakes, its not a perfect world.

a bit of advice, hopefully you you will make this a learning experience. im sure you have gone (or will go) to the teachers and go through with them what you have done wrong, and also how you can improve. as long as u learn from your mistakes AND ur learning process is reflected in further assessments, it is perfectly fine.

wish you all the best for your next major english assessment!

62% isn't horrendous, sure it's not that great , but it's not that bad either, sorry to hear you weren't happy with your result, better luck next time.
