Yes, but the RIAA and similar wanker organisations can try scare tactics.. But users will, with all certainty, one day return to a P2P app no matter what.
What has happened is this: Before p2p... People just didn't buy all the music that they liked.. Sure, they bought their favourite CD or casette or what ever. Now that we have P2P, people download the songs they like.. The artists don't lose a cent, as people still buy music.. The RIAA is just greedy, and they don't like the idea of people getting it for free.
If someone downloads music and then pirates it and sells it to people.. Fine.. They can take action, but they should ease off attacking P2P, because they are fighting an uphill battle and are just being a pain in the arse.
