yeah thats true iambored....and then u dont get the situation where 5 ppl in the group are all close friends and the rest (like me) who dont know anyone are left nigelated cos they're not included in the convo.....

You are wrong. Some subject has tutorial in first week for example ACCG 101 so it depends on the subject I think.

Yep some classes have tutorials/practicals in the first week. But usually this does not apply for first year first semester subjects. But like i said it depends. Just wait and see what happens in the first lecture.
