i know for ENG106 that you only have to attend the lecture in the first week, and tutorials and films will be starting in the second week. At least thats what happened last semester and it also says that on the webct discussion board. hope this helped. good luck !

If you want to know whether if you have to attend or not, you should email the unit convernor.

generally you only show up to lectures, basically intros to the courses. HOWEVER, i had a media tutorial in the first week so - maybe try calling your course convenyor? They would like to see you are eager to find out and attend = good student

hmm... that's odd. I emailed one of my unit convenors recently and she replied the very next day. Maybe you should email from your uni email account if it's not too late.FatHorse said:i did...but i received no replies....

as the larger W5C.320 room is needed by another unit with a larger
class.
At time of writing this email, the Timetabling Office has not yet
updated eStudent or the Timetables@MQ website.
It is expected that they will make this update by the beginning of
semester 2. If they do not make the updates in time for the beginning
of semester 2, please proceed to W5C.320 anyway.
There are no seminars in Week 1 of semester 2; seminars will begin in
Week 2 (week beginning August 7)
