at a guess i'd say it's the EA building, this would be an engineering building.

Ground floor, room 01 ?

Yeah. Too lazy to look at a map, but from memory it's right next to the car park. Look for ES (it's big so you can't miss it), then EA is in between ES and the carpark. G01 is in the door and to the left iirc.

P.S. My memory has been known to be right ... but rarely.

Room locations are generally in the form of BBFRR, B for building code, F for floor, R for room number. There's exceptions such as theatres, but use that general rule for everything else.

I could deal with a system like that.

Ellen, Did you notice when you were enrolling that it says we have to enrol in the course "foundations of language LING1001" but find that the course LING1001 actually codes for an introduction of linguistics? So confused, did you enrol in the language or linguistics?
I didn't actually notice the discrepancy here. I just enrolled in LING1001 like it said.

Impossible to fail :)

Yeah I'm going to give honours a go .. and at the end of the year I'll be able to tell you what failing is all about! I heard you were keen to do a bit more maths at some point?

At this point, I feel like the sooner it starts, then sooner it'll finish and I can get out of here, so .. *keeps hands down*.

C*-algebras and topological groups, and I'm not sure about a third yet. It gets worked out on tuesday, but I'm hoping I can do a lebesgue integration/measure theory subject.

so the larger-than-life people plastered on the library wall are an interesting new feature.
A lesser change is the purchase of new computer mice in the AIC. they're too light and narrow
Hmm, I might go check that out later.

Today's busy schedule is to get here at 9 to get a carpark (tick) go to class at 11, go home.

Well welcome back to Newcastle University!

Edit: Oh wait, no. Now they have PS3 and XBOX consoles in the walkway near the GT Bar.

Wow.
