okay.. at my school.. my class has been doing this chapter for like 2 weeks,, and like seriously.. from Q9-25 i just cant do.. and like when we go through them in class.. its okay.. but then out teacher would skip 20 lines of her answer and just go straight to the end and then there, the Q is done!!...
my whole class (4peeps) seem to not be able to do any of the Q..
would they have such long and hard Q in the HSC?!

Lizcat, we empathise with ur plight, but to give us a better understanding of ur concerns, and a way to help u, it would be appreciated if u could post up questions -especially the ones that u have particular difficulty with - that u cant understand!

For all those questions in conics that involve proving something, you should always draw a diagram, trust me it helps you work out what you need to prove and how to actually get started!

From my experience, the most important things to keep note of:
1) Always draw diagrams
2) PS=ePM...i dont know how many times i've missed this, which makes my working out very long
3) Sum and product of roots, often used for the locus of some point

Terry Lee's textbook also has some good questions, great for mastering this topic. ;)

Yeh but the explanations aren't very good, but it basically is like an integrated book of everything. Has nearly all questions or similar from other books
