hi

i am confused , can ne one answer this question

magnetic flux is the total number of lines of force

magnetic flux density is the totol number of flux lines passing through a given area
i.e more the flux lines strogner the field

is this right?

da stronger the CONCENTRATION of flux lines in a certain area, the stronger the magnetic flux density (Magnetic Field Strength)

yeh, how close together the lines are represents how strong the magnetic flux density is

Consider:

Flux (Φ) = B x A Tesla meters²
Flux Density = B

Flux density is synonymous with magnetic field strength

magnetic flux density per meter is the B

so it can either be webbers or tesla

the unit of B (magnetic field strength) is the tesla (T) or weber/m^2 (Wb.m^-2)

its also obvious in that φ = BA :. you could consider Wb = T.m^2 or
= (Wb.m^-2)/m^2
