hi, just curious are u alowed to eat/drink in class at UNSW unlike most high schools?

Officially, you can't bring food into lecture theatres and tutorial rooms. Depends on how anal your lecturer/tutor is (ie I do it all the time, especially if class is early morning or during lunch hours)

I am going to try and eat anyway, especially on my mondays, lessons from 9am to 6pm without a minute break in between the lessons.

Oh those 'no eating and no drinking' signs are more of a guide really
I always eat lunch in a lecture to save time later.

There was one particular subject's 2 hour lecture where my friends and I had a mini pinic every Monday.

Most don't care. There's the odd lecturer that gets irritated sometimes if you over do it....
