Ford Unveils 2008 FG Falcon (1 Viewer)

ok lets not get into any childish arguments here (holden ftmfw by the way) but today ford have officially unveiled the new falcon range, and they actually look fairly good imo. be interesting to see how it stacks up against the ve commodore, which has had a fairly substantial headstart on the new falcon.

the futura will now be known as the G6, and the fairmont as G6E (and will also be available in turbo), and the XR lineup will remain the same, though there are some rumours about a posssible twin turbo xr6 at some stage down the track.

Rounded front end doesn't really suit a car like that but otherwise ok. Ute looks a bit soft

fiesta's just another small car contender...has borrowed designs but pretty cute

If this model doesn't sell spectacularly - fords fucked. Their sales have been dropping since 1995, they're really relying on this.

The ute looks ok, but I still think its too similar to the BA, just a few tweaked lines and shapes.

Oh well, time will tell.

New Falcon looks more like a very good facelift rather than a new model altogether. Interior looks quite good. The screen looks pro- and you can tell the photo was taken in Australia (or at least attempted to make the radio station appear Aussie).

I am a fan of Ford but this is a let down.

Appart from the ute it is beginning to look like every other car out there.

Holden VE is better, and it hurts saying that, but it really is.
