How is it too early? We have trials next term and then the HSC follows pretty soon after. In about 4/5 months its all over. Your potential partner, if in year 12 as well, will have other things on their mind then formals and may feel rpessured to get dress etc for the formal if asked heaps later on.

Haha this is all in my head of course. I can make an excuse for why to or why not to ask someone at any stage from now untill the actual formal :p

Ours is in September, I'm a bit pessimistic because I think our parents have to go as well... hopefully my mum doesn't pester my date.

D: I hope your parents dont have to go!!

My school has a Graduation dinner (For you and your parents) and then a Formal, as well, so that problem doesnt occur. I would hate having my parents there..

Same, seeing as mine are divorced.. we got a dinner but no official formal i dont think.

Oh, well we have to organise our formal..

That in mind we haven't even organised it yet

I dont know when or where it will be.. maybe thats why Im so flustered.
I'd prefer to be prepared (have my dress ready, etc) so it doesnt matter when they hold it.. Still I should calm down.
