Hello everybody :awesome:
Just wanted to ask, what formulas/data are there that we need to know that are not on the formula sheets.
Right now the only thing i can recall is the 'k' constant (magnetic constant) = 2.0 x 10^-7
I'm 99.99% sure there are a few other things that we need to know str8 off the batt but cannot remember...
Thanks in adv!

Technically all the formulas you need are on the formula data sheet and it's up to you to derive the rest.

Some include:
τ=nBIAcosθ
emf=(ΔΦ/Dt) x n
Acceleration due to gravity
Escape Velocity
Acceleration of a rocket
Orbital Velocity

There's some more which I can't remember of the top of my head

Yeah neither can I, can't remember some of them unless I'm in the actual test. Thank you for that!

Orbital velocity is not there...

And there was a 1 or 2 equation about the Force,magnetically field , velocity of a particle

-Power loss =I^2R
-G force
-All those orbital, escape velocity equations are derived from the equations from the formula sheet so don't need to memorise them.

You derive them using the formulas already on the sheet or your own knowledge. Know how to apply the formulas properly though!
And also remember twinkle twinkle little star power loss equals i squared r.

hue ;)

------------------------

everything you need is on the formula sheet; however you are expected to know things like mv^2/r = qvB
