Hey @Dan10 ,
where would you like us to write + publish the review?
publicly somewhere or just in dms

just a personal thought, I'm still unsure about the pricing for your products. However, it's your business after all

Hi everyone!

I’m the founder of MathifyHSC, a company that specialises in creating and selling hardcopy, tutoring-style lesson workbooks for the HSC Maths curriculum here in NSW. Right now, we’re looking for detailed feedback and honest reviews on our workbooks, so I thought it would be best to reach out directly to current students.

If you're in Year 11 or 12 and studying Maths Advanced (2U), we’re shipping out FREE copies of our workbooks covering the full Year 12 Statistical Analysis topic — that includes Probability Density Functions, Cumulative Density Functions, and the Normal Distribution.

You’ll receive 6 lesson workbooks and 1 topic test covering the entire topic comprehensively. Each workbook comes packed with clear theory, practice questions, exam-style problems, and worked solutions. Think tutoring content — but better, and without the need for a tutor.

For more details, feel free to check out our website (search "MathifyHSC" on google)

If you're keen to give them a try and happy to provide feedback, just shoot me a message or comment. We’re only sending them to the first 10 people who respond — so spots are limited!

Thanks! 😊
LOVE TO HAVE A COPY OF THIS. IF YOU CAN SEND IT TO ME THANK YOU :)

I think the booklets matched the syllabus well, but I didn't end up using them a lot because the topic itself was pretty simple and I think our class textbooks were good enough.

I received the booklets and examined them.
They are not a replacement for a good textbook.
On the other hand, they are excellent for a review of the topic. Specially they are valuable if you don't like reading long textbook explanations.
The questions are well prepared, solutions are explained and cover most of the question types you find in the exams.
It is a bit pricey. But it may be a better investment than going to a class tutoring. They are well written.

If you are looking for the surprise HSC questions, I don't think you can find a resource where you can find all question types.
You need to practice a lot of question types from different resources to increase your chance of familiarity.

I actually found it helped quite a bit on consolidation & clearly defining things. Maybe because its focused on one topic only but I was confident with it enough afterward to tackle any question and help others too

Note though, out of the 7 booklets they sent, I only used 2 (CDFs and a topic test) because CDFs were a weak topic at that time
