Got a question about your integration notes, they're not complete.

You've forgotten about the straight integration methods.

As an example, take x^3/Sqrt[x^2 + 1]

x^3/Sqrt[x^2 + 1]
= (x^3 + x)/Sqrt[x^2 + 1] - x/Sqrt[x^2 + 1]
= x * Sqrt[x^2 + 1] - x/Sqrt[x^2 + 1]

Which is quickly integratable.
